New Member Peer Program
Share |

We are pleased to announce our new "Peer Program" for new members!

The goal of the program is to engage new members (including those who have been members in the past and have re-joined) so they can  learn about the MCBA and the opportunities available to grow their practices, become more involved in bar activities and become long term members.

All new members will be connected with an existing member who will then contact the new member periodically to answer questions about the Association, to encourage them to take advantage of the many benefits of membership and to attend events.

For existing members wishing to participate as a Peer, you will be expected to contact your assigned new member every month or two to answer their questions, talk about your experiences as a bar member, describe how the bar has helped your practice, encourage their participation in bar activities and invite them to meet you at future bar events, if applicable. Peers are asked to continue this contact for at least the first year of the new member’s enrollment, but are welcome to continue the contact after that point.

Generating new membership in the MCBA and retaining those members are critical to our success. If you would like to participate, please contact MCBA Executive Director Jonathan Cowles at 732.828.3433, x. 102 /
