Criminal Justice Reform Update

The speakers will review the following:

  • Brief Overview of CJR (Refresher)
  • Risk Assessment (Public Safety Assessment)
  • First Appearance CJP
  • Detention Hearings
  • Speedy Trial
  • Pretrial Services and Pretrial Monitoring
  • Post-COVID-19 Changes/Status
This program will be submitted to the BCLE of the Supreme Court of NJ for 1.2 hours of CLE credit. Of these, 1.2 qualify as hours of credit toward certification in criminal law. (Approved for NY CLE Credit.)
