The seminar will focus on the following:

  • Obstacles/issues for immigrant victims of domestic violence;
  • Possible immigration consequences for victims and perpetrators of domestic violence;
  • Interplay of Family and Municipal Courts;
  • Special considerations to take into account when representing an immigrant defendant; and
  • Resources available to immigrant victims of domestic violence.

This program has been approved by the BCLE of the Supreme Court of NJ for 3.0 hours of total CLE credit. (Recognized for NY CLE Credit.)
