This seminar will cover a variety of topics relating to how attorneys have undermined their professionals, from the "Eleventh Hour Retention,” to asking the expert to testify beyond his or her expertise. It will contain recommendations which Mr. Chalfin has accumulated from years of providing expert testimony and cover issues such as:

  • How to effectively utilize your expert
  • How to avoid major problems
  • What information should you provide to your expert
  • Timing

At the conclusion of the presentation attorneys will come to an understanding of the needs and requirements of their experts.

Cost: $30-Young Lawyers; $40-MCBA Members; and $75-All Others

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 2.0 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 1.0 qualify as hours of credit towards certification in matrimonial law and 1.0 qualify as hours of credit towards certification in civil trial law.
