The seminar will focus on the following:

  • Genesis of the charge
  • When should 8.11 F be charged with a discussion of the reported and unreported New Jersey Supreme Court & Appellate Division decisions in:
    • Davidson v. Slater, 189 N.J. 166 (2007)/Polk v. Daconceicao, 268 N.J.     Super. 568, 575 (App. Div. 1993);
    • Edwards v. Walsh, 397 N.J. Super. 567 (App. Div. 2007);
    • Ternier v. Smith, 2010 WL 1030461 (App. Div. 2010);
    • Sheffer v. Sullivan, Boxton v. Domingues, Griffin v. Allstate & Bascope v. Kovac

All cases to be provided at seminar.

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 1.5 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 1.5 qualify as hours of credit towards civil trial certification. (Please note that Approved CLE Courses in NJ are Recognized for CLE Credit in New York.)
