The seminar will cover the following issues:

  • The economy: the clients and areas of law most prone to generate ethical complaints
  • The five personalities prone to ethical violations
  • The root causes for ethical violations.
  • The steps necessary to take when ethical violations are imminent
  • The steps necessary to take after the commission of ethical violations
  • Dealing with the Office of Attorney Ethics/District Ethics Committee
  • Ethical violations as malpractice

This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 2.0 hours of total CLE credit. Of these, 2.0 qualify as hours of credit towards ethics/professionalism.
